{"id":2829,"date":"2025-04-13T20:58:54","date_gmt":"2025-04-13T20:58:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/artveda.local\/?p=2829"},"modified":"2025-04-13T21:23:39","modified_gmt":"2025-04-13T21:23:39","slug":"workshop-capoeira-angola","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/artveda.org\/?p=2829","title":{"rendered":"Workshop: Capoeira Angola"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><em><em>Every Sunday, starting January 2020, Mad\u2019Art Space, Carthage<\/em><\/em><\/summary>\n<p>As part of the <strong>Young European Theatre Project<\/strong>, which aimed to create a multilingual theater envisioned by a cohesive community of artists from diverse cultures and languages, a <strong>Multilingual Theater workshop<\/strong> was held for adolescents aged 14 to 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This workshop took place on <strong>Sunday, May 7, 2023<\/strong>, at the <strong>Cin\u00e9 Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Le Rio<\/strong> in Tunis and was facilitated by the two Greek artists <strong>Eva Oikonomou-Vamvaka<\/strong> and <strong>Venia Stamatiadi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project was supported by <strong>Creative Europe<\/strong>, <strong>Tunisia Espace des Arts<\/strong>, the <strong>National University of Ireland<\/strong>, and <strong>Art Fraction<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p>For the first time in Tunisia, <strong>Capoeira Angola workshops<\/strong> were held every Sunday at the Mad\u2019Art Space in Carthage, led by <strong>Benjamin Abras<\/strong>, a renowned Brazilian professor and artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These workshops, designed for amateurs, offered a unique experience blending martial arts, music, and song, bringing a fresh dynamic to Tunisia\u2019s cultural scene with the rich heritage of Brazilian Capoeira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organized in collaboration with the <strong>Mad\u2019Art cultural center,<\/strong> these courses, exclusively for adults, provided an opportunity to explore this multidisciplinary art and foster cultural exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"fb-video\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=322644765294856\" data-width=\"700\" data-show-text=\"false\"><blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/rtVeda\/videos\/322644765294856\/\" class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/rtVeda\/videos\/322644765294856\/\">capoeira in Carthage<\/a><p><\/p>Publi\u00e9e par <a href=\"https:\/\/facebook.com\/rtVeda\">Art Veda<\/a> sur Dimanche 26 janvier 2020<\/blockquote><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the first time in Tunisia, Capoeira Angola workshops were held every Sunday at the Mad\u2019Art Space in Carthage, led by Benjamin Abras, a renowned Brazilian professor and artist.
